Now on to some more serious things. You KNOW how much I love reading all your comments but someone pointed out recently that they'd been getting popups whilst on my blog. It seems a nasty cookie has attached itself to my comments box and whilst it doesn't always show up, it may do so to prevent you getting it on your blog, please don't open the comments section here. Instead, please leave your comments on my CBox or on 4shared or email me just until I manage to get rid of the little blighter. Mini Kit 'Ten~Pin Bowling' Freebie

Hello everyone,

Well, I've been overwhelmed with all your fantastic comments and I can hardly believe I have passed 10,000 hits. Well done to you guys and a huge big Thank You.

Now, Kittie asked me for a Bowling kit for her little daughter who is learning to play so I whipped up this little mini kit for you all in between my mega 'Beauty Within' kit. Hope you like and if you have any suggestions for new kits, please let me know. Not everything is shown in the preview. The colours were based on the wooden runs and the white and red traditional to the pins. I havn't forgotten the 'Heritage' one. I'll be working on that over the next few days.


I've got some LO's to pop on too that I did following Misty Cato's photo merge tut and using some of the fab freebies I've picked up this week so they will be here soon.

It's nearly 2.30am, it's raining cats and dogs again and I'm off to bed with a little prayer for all those stuck down South with these horrible floods. I hope it eases up soon for you guys.

'Beauty Within' Pt 2

Good morning dear Scrappers,

Well, it's a beautiful morning, the sun is shining, the air is warm and today feels like a summer holiday should feel. After yesterdays downpour, this is very welcome. But hey, this is England and our weather is known for it's unpredictability so lets make the most of this sunshine while we can...... lol.

I've rolled up my jeans, whipped off my wollen socks and and got a nice 4 knot hankie ready for my head.... what do you mean you thought only bald men wore those??? you should see my beautiful new 'brow reduction' courtesy of Extreme Makeover (uk)..... it 'increased..... lol.

Anyway, while I grab some rays, here's pt 2 of my Extreme Makeover Kit, 'Beauty Within' for you all to grab and enjoy. Pt 3 will be up on Friday of this week as this kit turned out to be five lots of downloads. Ain't that just like me.....hehe.

The background I used Carin was actually an 'IStock' royalty free photo of a coloured fractal. I loved the colours and wanted to create a LO with lots of 'white space' and it just seemed perfect. The grunged wordart overlay was a freebie and I've tried but cannot find the original kit I got it from so I can't give credit to the creator (if thats you...... PLEASE contact me so I can give proper credit) Anyway Carin, hope that answers your question and if you have any more, please ask away.... x

Big Thank you and New Kit News

Wow................

I am blown away with all of your wonderful comments on my little Treasure box for our fabulous Selena. Selena hun, your comments both here and on your blog have brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much and believe me when I say, the pleasure in creating this little gift for you and all of our Scrapbooking community was entirely mine. Does this mean I can snag that fab blinkie now hehe.....? To late, I already did. :-)

Ok, I promised you on my last blog some interesting (well, I think it is lol) news and something rather special.

A year ago today, yes the 18th, I got the date wrong (doh!) My Mum and I completed a journey we had never expected to be on. It was an experience of a lifetime and something we will never forget. I wanted to share the anniversary of that moment with all of you by creating a brand new Mega Kit.

The kit is called Beauty Within

I chose this name because the one thing I realised a year on is that true beauty comes from within. It's so much more then how you look. Everything you do, say and feel shows your true beauty and it shines through your smile, your eyes, your actions.

The kit will be available in 4 parts (I hope) over the next four weeks and the first download should (if 4shared behaves itself) be up tomorrow some time so please come back for part 1.

Now for some other news......

A year ago today (almost) 17th July, my Mum and I had a very special experience and I want to celebrate the anniversary of that date with all of you. I won't say what it was just yet other then it was extreme-ly RED, to say the least, you will have to come back tomorrow to find out what it was all about but I'm sure you'll be glad you did. There will be something rather special for you all.

.....and finally, a little layout I made of Elly's trip to see Shrek, her treat for getting such a super dooper school report. Hands up all you who thought the first Shrek was the best??? Still, this one had its moments and that cat still gets my funny bone. Harry Potter next and the Simpsons, looking forward to that.

New Layouts

I've been spending so much time learning CS3 and putting together a new blog site for my daughter that I've hardly had time to do any actual layouts.... lol.

So......... today I grabbed a little down time and with the help of some of the wonderful freebies I get from you lovely ladies I put together a couple of LO's.

Ok, after nearly 24 hours I have finally managed to repair all the broken links. That was a very frustrating time..... lol..... 4 shared were sooooooooooooo slow and then I kept crashing and would have to start all over again and God help me if I dared try and do something else at the same time...... oh no....... total shut down and the end of the world as we know it was a very real possibility.... lol.

Anyway, all links to my freebies are now fixed and in future, please, stop me before I get so carried away that just one kit contains 14 files....... Yeah, next time I make a Mega Kit, you guys are getting it 'daily' lol.

Testing....testing....CS3

I've been really busy working and learning how to get the most from my CS3. Recently I was delighted to be asked to test some Actions for Laurie over at Digiscraptoolbox. I tested her latest Crochet It Action which takes any rastersized shape and creates a beautiful crocheted stitch around it's edge.

Laurie has just added a further two stitches to this action so now you can try out tiny, med and large stitches to suit your needs. It works a treat in CS3 and is sooooo easy to use you will want to use it over and over.



Here's what I made earlier just using a colouring page from Elly's colouring book. I think it turned out fab.

It's been a while but.....

I've been so busy trying to create, upload and sort new movies and pics for you all that poor old blog has seriously missed out.

Anyway, first of all I wanted to share with you a QP I made for JulieO's challenge. I just love her work and really enjoyed having a go at this, my very first challenge.

Here is my next little freebie. It's called 'LimeGreen and Tangerine' and the inspiration came from a line in a Cure song called Wrong Number. It had to be done.... I'm a huge Cure fan but I thought this little kit was really fun, about as far away from your typical Goth style as you can get don't you think? lol. The fonts I used to make the alphas are all Robert Smiths fonts. How cool is that guys....?



The kit is another biggie so I have broken it down into managable zips for you. There are 14 folders in all so be sure to grab them all. You can find the link in the title of todays blog. (The link is working)
