Proud as Punch

Draped in Red
Today, I just couldn't resist shouting about my great friend Graham. As an old Goth and a staunch Liverpool supporter myself I'm thrilled to be able to show off a little and say, 'Hey, I 'know' this guy..... In fact, over the last couple of years Graham has become one of my very best friends. He's an amazingly giving, kind and wonderful person to know and it's my privalge to be counted amounst his friends.

Here's what the shout is all about......

On the 25th May 2005 Liverpool FC recorded one of the greatest victories in European football history. Wayne Hussey, lead singer in The Mission is a lifelong red, and wrote this song to celebrate a fantastic victory. It was played in public for the first time at Anfield during the halftime break versus Sheffield United The song is available on the new Mission album- God is A Bullet, released 30/04/07 and Graham co-wrote the lyrics, how cool is that!

Here's a youtube of the song for you to listen to. I hope you enjoy and Graham, Well done Sunshine, I love it....

Hall of Mirrors

Once a week, on a Friday after school, and depending on wether Elly has completed most of her school tasks (she usually has and if she hasn't I sometimes turn a blind eye, but shhhh, don't let the cat out of the bag.....) we do something a little special, something we don't always get the chance to do. It can be anything and it doesn't have to cost anything either. It just has to be something cool, fun, enjoyable and most of all, it has to be Elly's choice.

Last week finished on a high note. Elly had a fantastic week at school earning herself stickers and Head Teacher awards all over the show. She tried really hard to concentrate, not an easy task for our Elly.... lol.... and she did fantastic. As a special treat, I took her for a walk up to our sea front and the pier where we dined out on the finest McDonalds had to offer. On the walk home home we stopped off at the Hall of Mirrors.

I'm never eating Mc's again, did you see how much weight we gained???

Anyway, Elly loved it. Here's the movie.....

Will be back soon with more movies and pics. Until then, tootlepip old things

Father's Day Freebie

Hello Everyone,

Well, I did it, I finally did it.........

'Did what?' I hear you ask.... Well, I finally started to figure out my PS CS3 and oh boy, have I been having fun.

Like the little preview above? Well its yours for the taking. I know, its huge isn't it (hmmmmm..... I heard that before somewhere, but this is true folks) It's a kit of mega proportions to celebrate Fathers Day (thats 17th June over here in Brit Land) and since it almost coincides with my dd's 8th birthday (thats on the 15th) I've decided to dedicate my very first kit to Elly, my wonderful, totally delicious daughter.

Click on picture for link; Now re-set.
Anyway, if you likes, please help your self. The link is over in my 'freebie column' in the side bar. Oh, and I'd love it if you'd spare a minute to leave me a little message, either in the comments or in the chat box or even my guest book which you'll find at the bottom of each page.

As for Daddy (who's living in Peru at the moment) and all the good folks in Portugal, I know you've been missing your little doses of Elly so I've included a couple of little things for you too. Keep checking back, there's loads more of Elly to come, pics and movies as well as more freebie's for all my scrapbooking friends out there. The next one is already on the way and is.... kinda.... curious.....?

Before I go, I just want to say a very big Thank you to a few special people.
*Selena, thank you for pointing me in the right direction and I love your list.
*Misty Cato, wonderful tutorials, very easy to follow and great results and OMG, I love your work
*Heather at Pony Scrapping, you lead me to Deviant art and I LOVE it, thanks hun.
*And to Ikea Goddess and Amy W who's freebie lists have been invaluable.
